RAEng 3D Future: Case Studies Needed with Free Training Available

demodayWould you like to inspire the next generation of engineers?

We’re looking for engineers to film and create short videos with which we can use to show young people the varied and interesting career paths in the field. As part of a Royal Academy of Engineering funded project, we’ll be running workshops about 3D-printing and engineering with young people aged 11-14 years.

Your video will be shown during the workshops and they will also be uploaded onto Youtube to act as an online resource. We’re looking for contributions from all fields engineering, not just 3D printing.

We will provide free public and engagement and science communication training for all those who would like to be involved. In the communication training we will focus on how to communicate each individual engineer’s area of work in an interesting way to a non-specialist audience, so you will be fully prepared to be filmed.

The training and filming dates are:

Monday 13th July 1-5pm
